Questions bakers ask
Is Flourloop really free?
Yes. There's no subscription and no paid tier. We earn one fee only when a customer pays you by card: 5% of that payment (75¢ minimum), with Stripe's processing already included. Orders paid in cash, Venmo or Zelle are free.
Do I need to be good with computers?
Not at all. If you can post on Instagram, you can use Flourloop. Everything works on your phone, and your shop is ready the moment you sign up.
How do I get paid?
Card payments go straight to your own Stripe account and pay out to your bank. We never hold your money. You can also accept cash, Venmo or Zelle and just mark the order paid.
Are the labels legally compliant?
They're built from each state's published cottage food rules, with the official source and the date we last checked it. Rules change and some counties add their own, so confirm with your local health department. Labels are a strong starting point, not legal advice.
Can I bring my existing customers and orders?
Yes. Add orders by hand from DMs, texts or markets, and track balances right alongside online orders.
